Coaches,

As we get ready to begin the season, we have set up age-specific training for you.  Part of being an AYSO coach and being protected under the insurance is to be properly trained.  Training includes completing the Safe Haven course and the Heads Up Concussion course on-line.  Also, you must complete age-specific training for the age group you wish to coach.  While the Safe Haven course and Concussion course should be completed annually, you only have to complete the age-specific coach training once.  So, if you are coaching 10U and have taken the U10 course in the past, then you are good to go.

Remember to bring water and to wear comfortable clothing and shoes.  There is an expectation that every attendee may be called upon to demonstrate and/or participate.  If anyone is unable to attend a course, please let your coordinator know ASAP.  Additional courses may be added based on need.

Also, prior to attending, please enroll in your course at www.AYSOU.org.  You will need to have completed your Volunteer Application at www.visaliaayso.com prior to enrolling.

One additional side note – for those coaches needing to complete the 12U course to attend the Intermediate Coach course on TBA.  Please take advantage of these opportunities as the 12U course will help you in the Intermediate Course.
